I have been meaning to post a recap of the Keller Williams Red Day in Sacramento!
First off... What the heck is Red Day?
RED (Renew, Energize and Donate) Day is a Keller Williams Realty service initiative dedicated to improving our local communities. All Keller Williams Realty associates came together on May 13th to give back to our Sacramento communities.
I was part of a group who helped paint 82 doors at Sacramento High School and sections of their gym. I can't tell you how good it felt to put in a whole day of physical labor and do something nice for the someone else.
It was so nice to work together as a group be apart of something on a much bigger scale.
Throughout the Sacramento region (and across the country for that matter), Keller Williams agents gave back to their community on May 13th. Community gardens were built, the Elk Grove Teen Center was painted and landscaped, schools throughout the region received donated supplies, and a national speaker Kevin Carrol donated his time to speak at 12 different school locations.
I am so proud to be a part of Red Day 2010 and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish next year!
